When an elephant approaches a basking crocodile
A large Nile crocodile basks in the sun on the banks of a river. A large breeding herd of elephants are slowly making their way through the bush.
The elephants get a surprise as they walk around the corner, where a crocodile lies waiting with its mouth open toward the sun.
As each elephant passes, they seem quite surprised at the sight of the crocodile, and change paths quite quickly to avoid confrontation.
Who’s more confident, a crocodile or an elephant?
The last and largest pachyderm has a different idea, and confidently approaches the crocodile. The crocodile enters the water, and the elephant takes a big victorious drink.
